#1 Good things come to end at some point and the St Louis Blues eight game winning streak ended at eight games and who would have thought the New Jersey Devils would have been the team to beat them 4-2 on Friday night. The Devils scored with help from Dakota Mermis his first NHL goal and defenseman Connor Carrick his first of the season.
#2 The Winnipeg Jets shutout the Vegas Golden Knights 4-0 as Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck made 29 saves to do it. Hellebuyck leads the NHL in shutouts this season with six.
#3 The Calgary Flames edged the Arizona Coyotes 3-2 the Flames got scoring help from Johnny Gaudreau, TJ Brodie, and Mikael Backlund. The Flames Matthew Tkachuk got an assist on each of the goals.
#4 The Anaheim Ducks just got by the Toronto Maple Leafs 2-1, Carter Rowneyu and Adam Hendrique both scored and goaltenders John Gibson and Ryan Miller stopped 30 shots for the Ducks.
#5 Vancouver Canucks got a three goal win over the Colorado Avalanche 6-3. Zack MacEwen scored two goals and Adam Gaudette picked up two assists at Rogers Centre on Friday night

#1 Bobby Ryan of the Ottawa Senators coming off a NHL/NHLPA alcohol assistance program since November 20th stepped on the ice and scored a hat trick for the Senators 5-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks.
#2 The Winnipeg Jets Connor Hellebuyck picked up his fifth shutout of the season with a 3-0 win over the Washington Capitals. Hellebuyck had his moments standing on his head stopping a Alex Ovechkin twice and a great glove save from the Caps Ilya Kovachuk’s shot in the second period on a power play.
#3 The San Jose Sharks picked up an overtime win against the New Jersey Devils 3-2 when the Sharks team captain Logan Couture scored an overtime goal his first since his return from his injury
#4 The Nashville Predators Mikael Granlund got a game winning goal with just 0.1 of a second left in the game to force overtime against the Calgary Flames. Granlund then scored in the overtime stanza at 1:20 for the game winner.
#5 The Chicago Blackhawks Dominik Kubalik scored a hat trick in the third period during the Hawks five goal rally to come back to beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-2. The Blackhawks Corey Crawford stopped 37 shots. It was the Bolts fourth loss in a row.

#1 The San Jose Sharks (22-26-4) took a tough one with bad news that Tomas Hertl who scored five goals in the NHL All Star Game will be out for the rest of season with a knee injury that he sustained on Wednesday night against Vancouver.
#2 In Wednesday the visiting Vancouver Canucks (29-18-4) took a 2-1 lead after the Sharks had tied up the game with a goal. The Sharks took a 2-1 lead going into the third period.
#3 Coming off Monday’s win against the Anaheim Ducks in a three goal victory the Sharks were headed in the right direction until Vancouver tied it up 2-2 and added three more unanswered goals for the 5-2 win.
#4 The Canucks showed why their a first place team in the Pacific Division after the Sharks held the 2-1 lead after two periods a good club always knows how to come back and win games.
#5 The Sharks challenges doesn’t get any easier they host the Tampa Bay Lightning (30-15-5) who are second in the Atlantic Division at SAP Center in San Jose

#3 In the third and last game of the trip the Sharks couldn’t but watch the Vancouver Canucks score on them and there was that terrible third period where they surrendered three goals.
#4 The Sharks hope to get back on their winning ways again as they face off against Anaheim at SAP Center on Monday night.

#1 The San Jose Sharks and the Arizona Coyotes were all knotted up in a 3-3 duel that was all the Yotes needed to come back and score three goals in the third period for a three goal win 6-3 on home ice in Glendale.
#2 The Coyotes Taylor Hall and Phil Kessel both found the back end of the net Tuesday night against San Jose both scoring twice and were the difference in the Coyotes offense
#3 The Sharks knew going into this one in Glendale the Coyotes would be a tough customer and after this game was tied up the Sharks were counting on their defense but the Coyotes used their game plan to stay in the Sharks zone camp out there and score three late goals to help them win it.
#4 For the Sharks goaltender Aaron Dell 38 saves, four goals let in and a rough night in front of the net for Dell
#5 The Sharks will try and regroup and head onto Colorado on Thursday night Len sets up this game

#1 The San Jose Sharks, who have many European star players, will not be part of the 2020 NHL Global Series held in Prague next season. The Buffalo Sabres and Tampa Bay Lightning will meet in Stockholm tonight for the first of two games. In the early part of October at the start of the NHL season in 2020, it’ll be the Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators playing twice in Prague, while Colorado and Columbus face off later in the season at Hartwell Arena in Helinski.
#2 The Lighting and Sabres battled in Stockholm Friday to a Lightning 3-2 win. The Bolts’ Nikita Kucherov and Andrei Vasilevskiy both scored. Both games in Stockholm between the two teams are sold out in Sweden as part of the NHL Global Series.
#3 The Edmonton Oilers came away with a 4-0 shutout at the Rogers Centre. The Oilers’ Mikko Koskinin stopped 26 shots in goal and Ale Chiasson scored and had an assist in a win that snapped their two-game losing streak against New Jersey on Friday night.
#4 The Detroit Red Wings, who had been struggling, shocked the Original Six Hockey World Friday night with a 4-2 win over the Boston Bruins. The Wings’ Robby Fabbri scored twice in his first game with the Red Wings. it was a win that snapped the Red Wings’ four-game losing streak. Most shockingly, they beat a very tough and challenging Bruins team.
#5 The Winnipeg Jets’ Kyle Connor found the back of the net and got an assist in the Jets win over visiting Vancouver 4-1. The Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck stopped 31 Canucks shots.

#4 Mary Lisa, talk about the Sharks offense. Just not enough to catch the Jets the Sharks got goals from Evander Kane and Tomas Hertl, but the effort fell short.
#5 The Sharks play the second of back to back games tonight at SAP Center against the Vancouver Canucks. The Canucks had won five straight until they ran into the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night and lost by a goal 2-1. Mary Lisa tells us how she sees this match.
