#1 Michelle, what happened to Notre Dame (11-2) in the Fiesta Bowl, the Fighting Irish had a 21 point lead and let it slip away. The number one ranked team falls to the Oklahoma State Cowboys (12-2). The Cowboys roared back with 17 points in the third quarter and seven in the fourth to just edge the Fighting Irish 37-35.

#2 What a finish at the Rose Bowl on Saturday. With the Utah Utes (10-4) ahead in the first half the Ohio State Buckeyes (11-2). The Buckeyes rallied in the second half behind running back Jaxon Smith-Njigba who ran for 347 yards and scored three touchdowns. With Ohio State up 46-45 Buckeyes kicker Noah Ruggles hit a 19 yard field goal to get the Buckeyes up by four in the closing second for a 49-45 win.

#3 No.1 Alabama Crimson Tide gets a win over fourth ranked Cincinnati Bearcats 27-6. Alabama quarterback Bryce Young threw for 181 yards for three touchdowns and one interception. The Crimson Tide had a seven point first quarter and a ten point second quarter.

#1 Lane Kiffin head coach at the University of Mississippi said that college players will head to where they’ll get the opportunity to get paid the most. It will be a bidding war between universities for example Travis Hunter selected Jackson State over Florida State, Georgia and Auburn.

#2 Western Kentucky quarterback Bailey Zappe set the all time NCAAF record for passing yards that was set by Texas Tech quarterback BJ Symons in 2003 at 5,833 yards. Zappe broke the record on Sat Dec 18th’s game when he threw for a 44 yard pass to wide receiver Jerreth Sterns in the second quarter against the Appalachian State Mountaineers.

#3 Fifth year quarterback Myles Brennan said he’s exiting the transfer portal and will remain at LSU the announcement was made before LSU starting quarterback Max Johnson said he was transferring. Brennan said “there’s no place like home” and “lets go Tiger nation” upon announcing that he’s staying.

#1 The No.14 Utah Utes (10-3) on Friday night left very little doubt who is the best team in the Pac 12 with a crushing win over the No.10 Oregon Ducks (10-3) 38-7 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. For Utah quarterback Cameron Rising 170 yards passing and one touchdown pass Rising kept the run game busy all evening with two touchdowns by running back Tavion Thomas.

#2 Notre Dame defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman was named head coach replacing Brian Kelly. Freeman who went through the hiring process was the highly anticipated candidate to win the job and was officially hired as of Friday. Tell us your thoughts on Notre Dame’s hiring of Freeman?

#3 Quinn Ewers who is a top ranked quarterback at Ohio State enters the transfer portal and is considering transferring to Texas, Texas A&M, or Texas Tech. Ewers has been called a trailblazer and has made over $1 million for his likeness and endorsements.

#1 Purdue Boilermakers (6-3) upsets No.3 Michigan State Spartans (8-1) with a 40-29 win on Saturday the Boilermakers quarterback Aidan O’Connell threw for 536 yards and three touchdowns. The loss was the Spartans first loss of the season Boilermakers and running back Kenneth Walker carried for 146 yards and one touchdown.

#2 Nov 6. Cincinnati Bearcats remain undefeated (9-0) with a 28-20 win Saturday against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. There were two fumbles near the goal line and Cincinnati was able to keep things in check for the win. Bearcats quarterback Desmond Ridder 15-23 for 274 yards and two touchdowns.

#3 The No. 10 Wake Forrest Demon Deacons (8-1) dropped their first game of the season to the North Carolina Tar Heels (5-4) 58-55. Wake Forrest had a 48-34 going into the fourth quarter. UNC rallied for 24 points in the fourth quarter getting a three point win in the end.

#3 Ohio State (9-0) basketball: The Buckeyes defeated Penn State (7-2) 106-74. The Nittany Lions Kaleb Wesson led all scorers with 28 points.

#1 The Clemson Tigers (12-0) didn’t hold back in this one on Saturday taking out the South Carolina Gamecocks and early with a 38-3 win. Tigers quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw 26 for 36 for 295 yards and three touchdowns.

#2 What will become of the Michigan Wolverines (9-3) head coach Jim Harbaugh? The Wolves took a tough loss in a landslide 56-27 getting knocked by the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Buckeyes scored two touchdowns in each of their four quarters.

#3 Georgia Bulldogs (11-1) Jake Fromm went 14-29 and threw for 254 yards and four touchdowns in the Bulldogs laugher over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets 52-7. The Yellow Jackets avoided getting shutout when Brian Herrien rushed for a touchdown in the second quarter.

#1 The USC Trojans (5-3) just got by on Friday night against the Colorado Buffaloes (3-5) 35-31 win. With the Buffaloes leading by ten, 31-21, the Trojans stormed back with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter for the 35-31 win in Boulder, Colorado.

#2 In West Division of FBS, SMU (8-0) remained undefeated on Friday night with a road win over the University of Houston (3-5) 34-31. SMU quarterback Shane Buechele threw for 203 yards, two touchdowns and one interception for the win.

#3 To the big game of the week, it’s the Arkansas Razorbacks (2-6) against the Alabama Crimson Tide (8-0). Crimson quarterback Tua Tagovailoa is having himself a season. So far, 2166 yards and 27 touchdowns. No doubt a very hard act to follow. Crimson Tide comes a way with a crushing win 48-7.

#1 The Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Justin Fields threw four touchdowns and running back J.K. Dobbins ran for 121 yards as the No. 4 ranked Buckeyes crushed Northerwestern in a laugher 52-3 on Friday night.

#2 Pittsburgh (5-2, 2-1) edged Syracuse (3-4, 0-3) 27-20 when Pittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett threw for 232 yards and two touchdowns. Pickett even used a trick play in one of his touchdowns. The win was Pittsburgh’s fourth consecutive.

#4 Michigan State University head coach Mark Dantonio, who had a seven-hour deposition for wrongful termination issues regarding the recruiting of Austin Robertson, who is in prison for sexual assault. Six MSU players have entered a transfer portal and MSU is in a state of dysfunction are 4-3 this season.

On the NCAAF podcast with Michelle:

#1 Michelle, we wanted to lead off asking you about your old alumnus, University of New Mexico, Lobos (2-3) struggled in the second quarter of their game against the San Jose State Spartans (3-2) the Lobos defense couldn’t stop the Spartans run and San Jose ended up getting 20 points, which gave the Lobos too much of a deficit to come back from.

#2 The Michigan Wolverines (4-1) are ranked #19 and they played Iowa (4-1), who are ranked #14 and hung on to win 10-3. Despite their rank, Michigan should be a higher ranked team and were expected to come out of the shoot to start the season.

#3 LSU (5-0) left very little doubt with their 42-6 against Utah State (3-2) and LSU quarterback Joe Burrow left very little doubt that LSU would dominate this one with five touchdowns, 27-38 and 344 yards.
