The Patriots won two Super Bowls when Garoppolo was the back up quarterback to Tom Brady. Garoppolo quarterbacked for the Pats from 2014-2017.

#3 Jessica, with Diamond Sports owners of Bally Regional Sports Networks filing for chapter 11 bankruptcy who are scheduled to host streaming for some 14 Major League Baseball teams. Diamond missed a $140 million interest payment to it’s bondholders. Diamond while their in negotiations with their stakeholders are restructuring. Meanwhile baseball teams will not see any payments on their rights holdings that Diamond was scheduled to pay. MLB most likely will have to develop their own streaming network to cover the teams during Bally’s restructuring.
#4 Jessica, the New York Yankees who are the most valuable team worth $6 billion. In MLB the Yankees are one of two teams in the Majors that do not pay for their team’s inflight Wi Fi the other is the Cincinnati Reds. The cost in one year for inflight Wi Fi comes to $40,000 which is equivalent to pitcher Garrett Cole’s salary in four games.
#5 Oakland A’s Japanese pitcher Shintaro Fujinami struck out seven batters on Tuesday in his third start for the A’s. Fujinami. Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr (4) was feeling the pressure of the Pittsburgh Steelers defense all game long particularly the second half where the Raiders were shutout on Sat Dec 24, 2022 in Pittsburgh (AP News photo)
On the Raiders podcast with Rich Perez:
Las Vegas Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels expressed his disappointment in the last two loses to the Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers both loses came in the last minute of the games. The Raiders in the second half of their game in Pittsburgh were completely shutout and quarterback Derek Carr could not get the ball moving.
On Wednesday McDaniels addressing the media said that Carr will be benched for the next two games and it was also reported that Carr will not even be in Allegiant Stadium suited up or otherwise for the games against the 49ers and Chiefs as the Raiders finish out their season in the next two weeks in Las Vegas.
Carr was not at practice on Wednesday and most likely he was told by McDaniels when he came to practice Wednesday morning that he would be benched and that he needed to clear out his locker his season was done. There had been talk that the Philadelphia Eagles who are looking for a starting quarterback are preparing to make a trade offer with the Raiders who earned over $22 million this season with the Raiders has three years left on his contract which the Eagles and Raiders might end up splitting.
Jarrett Stidham will be the Raiders new starting quarterback and Chase Garbers will be his back up. Stidham got a few snaps this season will see action against a powerful San Francisco 49ers defense whose pass rush is one of the most effective in pro football no doubt this will truly be a big test for Stidham and the Raiders offensive line trying to protect him.
The Raiders might express interest in Indianapolis Colts starting quarterback Matt Ryan if Stidham doesn’t pan out. Ryan will be a healthy scratch on Monday Night Football and will be replaced by Nick Foles. The Raiders might take a look at Ryan in the off season and he could be on the Raiders short list in finding a starting quarterback for 2023.

#1 After the Las Vegas Raiders (2-7) loss on Sunday 25-20 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas the Raider fans booed the team off the field and some fans yelled at Raiders owner Mark Davis to fire Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels not quite the exit the Raiders wanted.
#2 McDaniels to say the least is under media and fan scrutiny for the 2-7 start and said during his post game press conference that the trouble and the loses start with him.
#3 Davis told the media that the Raiders did an extensive search for a new coach in the off season and said that he’s building an organization and that Rome wasn’t built in day.
#4 Talk show hosts and reporters say that Raider quarterback Derek Carr who teared up during the post game press conference after last Sunday’s game sounded like he was looking at the end. There was also mention that there might be a strong quarterback class coming out of the draft next season.
#5 The Raiders are headed for Denver (3-6) for this Sunday’s contest. The Broncos lost four of their last five games and lost by a touchdown to the Tennessee Titans 17-10. Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson hasn’t been world beater can the Raiders stop him this Sunday?

On the Raiders podcast with Rich:
#1 Rich, the Las Vegas Raiders have made big news on Sunday hiring a new general manager Dave Ziegler and a new head coach Josh McDaniels. Both men come from the New England Patriots. Zeigler was head of player personnel and McDaniels was offensive coordinator at the Patriots.
#2 Ziegler replaces former Raiders general manager Mike Mayock who was fired in early January. McDaniels was also head coach at the Denver Broncos for two seasons 2009 and 2010. McDaniels replaces interim head coach Rich Bisaccia.
#3 Rich, Coach Bisaccia led the Raiders to their second post season in 19 years and at the end of the season the Raiders had won four of their last five games before being eliminated in the AFC Wild Card game by the Cincinnati Bengals.
#4 Bisaccia is a free agent and the Chicago Bears are interested in hiring Bisaccia as special teams coach and will work under Bears head coach Matt Eberflus who was hired on Thursday by the Bears.
#5 Rich, McDaniels comes from the Patriots where he was offensive coordinator there since 2012 and under head coach Bill Belichick. So McDaniels had some good mentoring under Belichick all those years.
