San Jose Barracuda podcast with Marko Ukalovic: Barracuda hope to rebound from loss host Canucks Friday

On the San Jose Barracuda podcast with Marko Ukalovic:

#1 The San Jose Barracuda (18-22-0-3) tough loss against the Bakersfield Condors  (16-21-2-1) after tying up Saturday’s game twice the Cuda just couldn’t hold on and lost by a goal 5-4 at Mechanics Bank in Bakersfield.

#2 The game kicked off with the Condors leading in shots by 4-0 putting the pressure on San Jose. At the 7:51 mark Patrick Sieloff took a holding penalty putting Bakersfield on the power play. On said power play Seth Griffith was given a pass across the slot that he tapped in scoring his 11th goal of the season.

#3 In the second period Luke Johnson kicked things early for San Jose as he received a pass from Jeffrey Viel that he finessed into the net tying the game up. 6:22 into the second period Barracuda was given a chance to take a lead as their power play unit hit the ice.

#4 Adam Raska was not done though as seconds after the last goal Raska got in on the forecheck, stole the puck, and took it to the net were he scored once again to make it 5-4. San Jose later in the period did pull Aaron Dell but could not get the equalizer and thus fell 5-4.The shots finished in favor of the Barracuda at 36-28.

#5 The Barracuda are back at CU Tech Arena in San Jose on Fri Feb 3th as they the host Abbottsford Canucks (23-14-2-2) fourth place in the Pacific Division
