On the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs podcast with Matt:

#1 The Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes open up the best of seven round two of the playoffs today in Carolina. The Hurricanes are coming off a 4-2 series win against Nashville Predators in a game 6, 4-3 win. The Lighting won this rather handedly 2-1.

#2 Matt, talk about the Lightning’s Barclay Goodrow and Braydon Point who both scored for the Tampa Bay today.

#3 Talk about game two between the Bolts and Canes Tuesday for game 2 any pressure on the Hurricanes as this one is on home ice for Carolina down 0-1.

#4 The Vegas Golden Knights have had a very impressive post season their coming off a 6-2 win against the Minnesota Wild taking a 4-3 series first round win.

#5 The Colorado Avalanche are coming off a four game sweep over the St Louis Blues they’ve been off since Sunday 7 full days off will that handicap them going into a series with a team like the Golden Knights?
