On the 49ers podcast with Joe Lami:
San Francisco 49ers quarterback CJ Beathard is looking over his shoulder right now with Jimmy Garoppolo as he has for the last three weeks looking over is shoulder. Beathard has played good football and in his last game throwing against the New York Giants two weeks ago at Levis Stadium he was impressive but the Seattle Seahawks who come in are a whole new look and this will be a test for 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers.
With Garoppolo he is just behind Beathard and many are anticipating his first appearance and some say if Beathard gets into trouble in this game Garoppolo could very well have a shot at entering the game. As it stands right now Garoppolo is not scheduled to make an appearance and short of Beathard getting into trouble Garoppolo could very well sit for sometime.
