After winning two out of three against the defending World Champion Chicago Cubs to close out a winning home stand, the San Francisco Giants headed east to face the Washington Nationals.
Following an off day in the Nation’s Captiol, the first game of the six-game road trip was postponed due to rain.
The game that was supposed to start at 7:05 (Eastern Time) was finally called after a nearly three-hour delay.
Now with the rainout, the game will be made as part of a day-night doubleheader on Sunday between the Giants and the Nationals.
The first game of the doubleheader will start at 10:05 (Pacific Time), and the second game will begin at 4:05 (Pacific Time).
