On the Giants Podcast with Morris:

Has the addition of Pablo Sandoval to the Giants who have now won two straight games, not it’s not like their going to chase the Dodgers winning record but it seems ever since Sandoval got back to San Francisco they’ve had a little bit of a bounce in their step.

Sandoval sat on Sunday but you almost can feel a change of energy in the clubhouse and on the field upon his return to SF

The Giants also outrighted third baseman Conor Gillaspie who cleared waviers and accepted an assignment at Triple A affiliate Sacramento

The Arizona Diamondbacks who lost two out of  three to the Giants are in the hunt for a wild card spot and the Giants played spoilers over the weekend against the D-Backs

.The Giants play one of the NL’s best tonight the Chicago Cubs at AT&T Park starting Monday night. The Cubs will be starting Jake Arrietta and he’ll be matched up against the Giants Matt Moore 3-11
