On A’s podcast with Jerry:
The A’s got two victories in a row on Tuesday with a walk off homer from Franklin Baretto and on Wednesday the A’s got some timely hitting for a 7-4 win over the Chicago White Sox. The offense gave starter Sonny Gray some support and Gray pitched very well on Wednesday. On Thursday the A’s opened up a three game series with Seattle the A’s wasted no time getting on the scoreboard scoring three times in the first to take a 3-0 lead on the Mariners.
Gray gave up two home runs one them to Sox rookie Matt Davidson who was designated hitter Wednesday and was hitting .250 and he hit his 18th home run of the year. The Sox have pop in the middle of their line up with Jose Abreau, Melky Cabrera, Todd Fraiser, Fraiser doesn’t hit for average but he did hit for a homer as the Sox wound up falling short by three runs losing 7-4.
