3 How remarkable is Giants starter Jeff Samardzija it was noted in the modern era that Samardzija is the first pitcher to have at least 50 strikeouts over his last seven starts with just one walk he actually tallied 59 during that stretch

4 Madison Bumgarner has been throwing on a flat surface and is due to throw of the mound in a few weeks according to the Giants. Bumgarner when he feels better he will be entering rehab with the minor league Giants affilate Sacramento River Cats. After rehabbing he’s expected back in full form in July.

5 The Giants go with Ty Blach whose 4-2 and had a win in his last outing what’s your take in his last few outings
