On the San Francisco Giants podcast with Jeremy Kahn:

#1 The Giants start opening week not exactly as planned first there was Sunday’s opener with the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Giants closer Mark Melancon couldn’t close the door on the Snakes as the D-Backs came back and came back from two runs down 5-4 to win it 6-5.

#2 Their 1-4 after Friday’s loss to the San Diego Padres 7-6 at Petco Park. The Giants lone win came on Tuesday but now have lost three straight twice in Arizona and yesterday in San Diego.

#3 Giant starter Jeff Samardjiza got rocked in Thursday’s game for eight earned runs, eight hits but got eight strikeouts.

#4 Madison Bumgarner was lights out on opening day where he looked good enough to go the distance and hit two homers

#5  JJ goes over how this series will go with the Giants-Padres
