#1 Nicklas Backstrom scored a key OT PP goal as the Washington Capitals edged the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 Sat night the Caps now have a 15 game winning streak at home

#2 Chicago Blackhawks got a two goal win over the Nashville Preds 5-3. Brian Campbell scored at 1:05 for a tie breaking goal for the Hawks 7th consecutive win

#3  The Montreal Canadiens goalie Carey Price stopped 26 New York Rangers shots in a 4-1 win for the Habs. Shea Weber, Artturo Lehkonen, Andrew Shaw, and Jordie Benn all scored for the Habs.

#4 The Bruins edeged out New Jersey 3-2. It was the B’s Ryan Spooner who scored a third period goal and for B’s head coach Brian Cassidy it was his eighth win in ten games since taking over

#5  Edmonton Oilers Connor McDavid on roll has hot season on ice as Oiler defeat Detroit Red Wings on Sunday
