Sharks fall in Phoenix

Glendale-The San Jose Sharks fell to the Phoenix Coyotes 2-1 in a preseason Exhibition in Arizona on Friday night. San Jose lost a another heart breaker in the preseason and another game by just one goal.

Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored the game winning goal on a power-pay with just 2:28 remaining in the the third and final period. The game was the preseason finale for the Phoenix Coyotes. The goal was Ekman-Larsson’s team leading third goal of the season.

The San Jose Sharks open up the season on Thursday at the SAP Center in San Jose against the Vancouver Canucks.
